Follow up to PRWP Meeting 3rd September

The Summary Report to UKIPG Main Group (Annex B to UKIPG.P25.09), and the 'PRWP Summary of Discussions at Oct 09' document (tabular document in lieu of minutes) are now available on the UKIPG web-site under 'Meetings' then 'Professional Regulation Working Party', once you have logged in.  Contact the Secretary if you cannot log-in.

Note the following dates for your diaries:

• 14th October - Accreditation Conference organised by the Engineering Council ^UK, with free invitation to UKIPG members to particpate.
• 9th November - next meeting of PRWP at RICS at 1430.
• 27th November - next meeting of the QAA/UKIPG PSRB Forum on an 'international' theme.

The web-site now has a new User Group called the NARIC Liaison Group, accessed through the 'Meetings' heading.  At present, it comprises those who attended - or at least showed an intention to attend - the meeting on 7th September.  We are keen to make this Group as comprehensive as possible across all professional areas.  Some professions were not involved in the 7 September meeting, perhaps because they did not have a current issue with NARIC.  However, to prevent misunderstandings in the future, we are trying to keep this as a first point of contact by NARIC staff when dealing with a profession-related query.  Contact UKIPG Secretary if you (or a colleague) wish to be added to this Group.
