UKIPGThe UK Inter-Professional Group

Inter Professional CPD Forum

Whilst the UKIPG itself is a Group of member bodies, as in UKIPG List of Members, the Inter Professional CPD Forum is a much broader group, with both corporate and individual members.  The defining factor is an interest in the policy, practice and resources for Continuing Professional Development in the professional sector.

The Forum normally meets about three times a year for half-day seminars, which are hosted on a voluntary basis by Forum members.  The current Chairman of the Forum is Graham Ixer of GSCC.  Administrative support for the Forum is provided primarily by Chris Senior.

All UKIPG member bodies have access to the Forum, at no extra charge, simply by registering their interest, and nominating a representative, to the UKIPG Secretary.

People and organistions, other than UKIPG member bodies, wishing to join the Forum should contact the Forum Administrator in the first instance.   There is a small annual fee to cover administrative expenses of the seminars.  Once registered and the fee is paid, Forum members are added to an 'E-mail Group' and recieve subsequent information about events through e-mail and the web-site.

Those participating in the Forum include members and staff from professional bodies and regulators, people in further and higher education, private training providers, providers of support systems and study materials, including e-based systems etc, as well as some public and private sector employers.
